Banyan Ventures is excited to share that our Founder and General Partner, Sam Awrabi, has joined the Advisory Board of FlexAI, a groundbreaking French startup rearchitecting compute infrastructure for developers building and training AI applications.
Backed by one of the largest seed rounds in Europe ($30 million), FlexAI is tackling one of the most foundational challenges in artificial intelligence: unlocking scalable, developer-friendly compute. The company’s mission is to make AI infrastructure as flexible, efficient, and accessible as possible for the teams building tomorrow’s most important applications.
Sam will be working closely with CEO Brijesh Tripathi, who brings a rare depth of experience across the world’s most iconic technology companies. Brijesh was among the first 500 employees at NVIDIA, worked directly with Steve Jobs at Apple on early silicon development, led critical engineering programs at Tesla (under Elon Musk), and held leadership roles at Zoox and Intel, where he most recently oversaw AI and supercompute platforms.
FlexAI’s CTO, Dali Kilani, is also a deeply technical leader, with previous roles at NVIDIA, Zynga, and most recently as CTO of Lifen. Together, they’re assembling one of the most capable and visionary teams in the AI infrastructure space.
In his advisory role, Sam will focus on AI strategy, global hiring, and scaling, leveraging his experience supporting category-defining companies at the frontier of AI-native technology.
Banyan is proud to support FlexAI on its journey to become a foundational pillar of the AI-native era.
